Randy is the founder of the Randy Chang Golf School at Journey at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, CA. Born in Honolulu, HI, Randy has been named PGA Teacher of the Year in both the Aloha (HI) Section (2002) and Southern California Section (2010). He was recently awarded the SCPGA Youth Player Development Award (2015) and has also been recognized as the SCPGA’s Metro Teacher of the Year (2009) and Inland Empire Junior Golf Leader of the Year (1995).

With more than 35 years of professional golf experience, Randy has served many roles from Head Professional and Director of Golf to General Manager and Custom Club Fitter. He particularly enjoys working with children in the Tiny Tees Golf program at Journey (ages 3 to 6), which provides an introduction to the game of golf and teaches the children basic full swing, short game and putting skills and life skills in a fun environment.

Randy was a good enough player to compete on scholarship for three years at the University of Portland, and also played on various mini-tours in Southern California and Canada. A Top 30 Instructor for Golf Tips Magazine in 2014, Randy also received previous recognition as one of the Top Teachers in Southern California by both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest magazine.

A two-level tee and 300 yards of driving length make this all-grass range a pleasure to use. There are three short-game areas that feature a variety of surfaces, from tight fairway lies to challenging bunkers. Practice putting greens are mowed to replicate green speeds on-course.
