The Ron Garl-designed “Golf Improvement Center” is one of the top practice facilities in all of Southwest Florida. It features a double-sided range, multiple short-game areas, a putting green and two practice holes—a par 3 and par 4. The “Bermuda Triangle” short-game practice area allows you to hit balls to three different greens, each set off in a triangular pattern and surrounded by bunkers or mounds. There’s also a separate wedge-game area where students can practice wedge shots from 50 to 100 yards.

The Mark McCumber design is now the permanent home to the prestigious Dixie Amateur, one of the top-ranked amateur tournaments in the world. Former champions have included Hal Sutton, Brandt Snedeker, Lanny Wadkins and Jesper Parnevik. The practice facility features a double-sided, targeted grass range with multiple teeing areas, several practice greens and a short-game area for chipping and bunker play.
