Cindy is the founder and CEO of Cindy Miller, Inc., and co-founder of the Golf Channel Academy with Cindy & Allen Miller, with two locations in the Buffalo, NY—The Wehrle Golf Dome and Airport Driving Range. An accomplished coach, player, speaker and corporate team building expert, Cindy has been teaching professionally for more than 30 years and has garnered numerous coaching accolades, including being named the 2010 LPGA National Teacher of the Year. She currently resides on Golf Digest magazine’s list of the “Best Teachers” in the state of New York and is a member of the U.S. Kids Golf “Top 50 Kids Teachers” Class of 2014.

A Class A LPGA Professional, Cindy and her husband Allen Miller, a former PGA Tour winner, are the only married couple to have played on all four major tours—the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions and Legends Tour. She is still a member of the Legends Tour, the official senior tour of the LPGA Tour, where she ranks in the top 40 on the career money list. An LPGA Tour member from 1979 through 1981, Cindy competed in five U.S. Women’s Opens and five LPGA Championships, but she is perhaps best known for her appearances on Golf Channel’s popular reality series, The Big Break. Miller was a contestant in the third installment of the series, The Big Break III: Ladies Only, and later on The Big Break VII: Reunion.

In addition to being a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Fitness and Junior Certified Professional, Cindy is also a Certified Behavior, Intelligence, Judgment and Motivation Specialist. A member of the National Speakers Association, she delivers programs that inspire, educate and empower both individuals and corporations interested in improving overall performance. Her audiences consist of a wide range of companies in the financial sector, insurance, sales, athletic arena, technology, and manufacturing.

Cindy is also the author of two books, The Short Game (with husband Allen Miller) and Golf 101 for Executives, a guide to help business executives learn the etiquette, rules and culture of the game.

The teeing ground of the Airport Driving Range includes a covered area for protection from the elements. Open seven days a week, the complex is lighted for night use. It has a practice putting green and a practice bunker.

The Wehrle Golf Dome is a 100,000-square-foot complex that encompasses 15.5 acres. It is anchored by a 72,000-square-foot, two-level indoor practice tee area that comes with 45 tees. An outdoor driving range, meanwhile, has 38 tees and there is an 18-hole miniature golf course. There’s also a pro shop and Murphy’s Restaurant.

Allen Miller

Allen is the co-founder of the Golf Channel Academy with Cindy and Allen Miller, with two locations in the greater Buffalo area—The Wehrle Golf Dome and Airport Driving Range. He is also the founder and CEO of Allen Miller Golf. After a distinguished amateur playing career at the University of Georgia—which included stints on two Walker Cup teams and one Eisenhower World Cup team—Allen went on to play the PGA Tour for 15 seasons, competing regularly against the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Lee Trevino. A terrific ball striker (Dave Pelz ranked him No. 2 on Tour in his book, “The Short Game Bible”), he notched one victory, 18 top-10 finishes and 69 top-25 finishes overall, including a T-15th at the 1975 Masters—one of his five Masters appearances. A Past Champion, Life Member of the Tour, he and his wife, Cindy Miller, are the only married couple in the world to have played on all four major tours—the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions and Legends Tour.
