Allen Miller

Allen is the co-founder of the Golf Channel Academy with Cindy and Allen Miller, with two locations in the greater Buffalo area—The Wehrle Golf Dome and Airport Driving Range. He is also the founder and CEO of Allen Miller Golf.

After a distinguished amateur playing career at the University of Georgia—which included stints on two Walker Cup teams and one Eisenhower World Cup team—Allen went on to play the PGA Tour for 15 seasons, competing regularly against the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Lee Trevino. A terrific ball striker (Dave Pelz ranked him No. 2 on Tour in his book, “The Short Game Bible”), he notched one victory, 18 top-10 finishes and 69 top-25 finishes overall, including a T-15th at the 1975 Masters—one of his five Masters appearances. A Past Champion, Life Member of the Tour, he and his wife, Cindy Miller, are the only married couple in the world to have played on all four major tours—the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions and Legends Tour.

Since retiring from the PGA Tour in 1986 Allen has devoted his life to teaching, tapping into his vast knowledge of the swing and own playing experience. He and Cindy formed the Miller Golf Group in 1986 and since then have worked together to educate, entertain and enlighten golfers of all skill levels, giving them the skills and opportunity to reach their potentials.

Allen’s simple teaching style, using Tour-proven and time-tested concepts, has earned endorsements from Hall of Fame coaches and players alike, including one of his former playing competitors, Tom Kite, who said: “Allen has a great knowledge of the golf swing and what makes it work. “He puts his suggestions into ‘simple’ thoughts that do not confuse the student.”
